Development commercial building Topcon
In March 2021 there was still a bare building plot on Werner Von Siemensstraat in Zoetermeer. In a few months time, a brand-new stand-alone commercial building was developed there for the international companyTopcon Europe Positioning B.V.
The arrival of Topcon, which focuses on positioning and mobility, is perfectly in keeping with the ambition of Dutch Tech Campus to develop further as a fully-fledged, sustainable campus for businesses focusing on mobility, ICT and e-health & care.
Topcon Positioning Group designs, manufactures and distributes products and solutions in precision measurement and geospatial surveys. The high concentration of IT students in higher education (at The Hague University of Applied Sciences nearby), IT professionals and the presence of other national and international companies focusing on mobility were the deciding factor in choosing the campus as the company’s new base.
